OBEDIENCE: This is the best training for ANY dog, any breed and can be the source of many happy teamwork hours of fun with you and your Bouvier.

It is a series of levels from Sit and stay, walking on a leash, recall, long downs and stays, sit and stay. With each award and each accomplishment you move up. We did do a few what they call legs of obedience but never really felt great when doing it. Why? Not because we could not but Bouvier have a way of making obedience a game and repition makes them do funny things. We were always afraid we would mess up other dogs that came hundreds of miles to get their title because Bouvier are herding dogs and have a way with moving other dogs when they dont really want to move or should not.

Make no mistake bouvier are well capable of obedience and it can be fun even if you do not go for a title. We have had Bouvier who perform in this arena with perfection. We urge you to try it and see if it is for you. Meanwhile your dog will be obedient beyond your belief. Its magical!
